Q&A with TheTravelingStoner 1
Hey Guys! A lot of you are constantly messaging me with questions you have about me, my life, products I like to use, recommendations, etc. I decided that I would dedicate Sundays to questions and answers! Welcome to the first week :)
How was The Traveling Stoner created?
TheTravelingStoner was a name / social media account that I created to be able to express myself. At the time I was living in Florida where cannabis was completely illegal. Chris and I had just met and he was actually the one to show me the cannabis scene on social media. After spending a couple of days going through the industry online and seeing what it was about, I was ready to jump in. I was taking a risk by putting my cannabis use out there, but I was tired of hiding who I was and the plant that made me feel normal again. I came up with the name because at the time I was traveling like crazy. I had trips planned every month out of the state and had trips daily to weekly in state. Even today it’s hard to keep me in one place. I was born with a gypsy soul.
How long have you been living in Colorado?
Chris and I moved to Colorado at the very end of December in 2015. We left Florida a couple of days before Christmas and headed up to North Carolina to see my family. On Boxing Day (the day after Christmas), Chris and I packed the car back up and made the drive out to Colorado. We pulled into Sloppy’s driveway in Pueblo, Colorado at 2AM on December 28th and we have been living here ever since. We’ve had a lot of bumps in the roads since moving out here, but I wouldn’t have changed that decision for anything!
Where is your favorite place to travel to?
I’ve been traveling my whole life. My parents have always loved to travel and take us kids as well! I am blessed to have a family who values and loves to travel as much as I do. Lately I would tell you that my favorite place to travel to is New York and the surrounding areas. There is so much culture and life out in those cities. Although I love the mountains and the way of life out here in Colorado, there is something about the east coast that will always have my heart. Oh and the food - it's just amazing out there!
What is your favorite food?
When it comes to food there's not much I won’t eat. I tend to stay away from spicier foods, but in all honesty I like it all! My favorite food however would have to be sushi. If I had to get more specific and pick a favorite roll it is hard, but I would have to say that Volcano Rolls and Spyder rolls are in the top 5! While I love all asian cuisines sushi just has a little piece of my heart.
