Glitter Bong Bash: A Night to Remember
Have you ever attended an event where different industries and communities come together to celebrate life, love, happiness and each other? I did last week! Glitter Bong Bash was held at Tetra Lounge in Denver on Wednesday and brought together the cannabis industry and the LGBTQ community. GBB was a super inclusive event where everybody felt safe, comfortable, and free to be themselves!
Izzy Blaze and Arend Richard had an event that was unlike anything that has been thrown in Denver before. There was raffles, sponsors, dab bars, snacks, drinks, open bar, prizes, VIP bags (that were filled with so many amazing things), artisan cannagars, face jewels, and so much more. Throughout the night they gave away over thousands of dollars in prizes to the attendees and everybody went home with at least something. There’s never a dull moment with this group!
I had never attended an event at Tetra Lounge before and was blown away by the venue. So many different areas to hang out, sit and just chill with you friends. Out the back was a great space too with the deck and lower levels with bonfires and outdoor seating. They have made a great use of the space and have created a calm, safe and fun environment for the cannabis community in Denver! I can’t wait to attend another event there.
Bringing these two different but equally influential groups together was no easy task. However, with Arend, Izzy and their crew made it look like a breeze and had tons of fun during the process! There really isn't a wonder why the events, companies and projects that this group works with are always successful. They really put in the work!
Denver really came out last Wednesday night to not only show their support for Izzy and Arend, but also for the communities and what it means for us all to stand together. So much love and memories shared that night. These are some really trying times in our society and its just amazing to see that here in Colorado we are trying to come together instead of pulling apart.
