BakingAndBakingWithBailey: Dog Treats

Ingrediants:

1 apple, peeled and cored

1 carrot, peeled

½ cup peanut butter

2 eggs

¾ cup quinoa flour

1 cup oats

  1. After you've peeled and cored your apple and the carrot, use a cheese grater to get  finely shredded product.

  2. Beat eggs in a large mixing bowl. Mix carrots and apples into the eggs and incorporate well.

  3. Mix in peanut butter into wet ingredients and incorporate well.

  4. Mix quinoa flour into the wet ingredients and mix well. Add oats to the dough and mix until incorporated.

  5. Put a piece of parchment paper onto a baking sheet and spread dough evenly onto parchment. Freeze for at least 1 hour.

  6. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  7. After treats have frozen, cut them out into desired shapes and sizes.  Place onto clean cookie sheet and bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through. Cookies may finish faster if dough was laid thin, or slower if laid thick. Watch for the golden brown cookie!

  8. Once finished, allow to cool and serve to your pups!
