BakingAndBakingWithBailey: Chocolate Wows! Bailey's Own Cookie Recipe!
⅓ cup flour
1/8 cup Nesquik chocolate milk mix powder
⅛ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
6 ounces semi sweet chocolate, chopped
½ cup butter
2 large eggs
¾ cup sugar
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
1 cup pecans, chopped (can substitute with walnuts)
1 cup butterscotch chips
Preheat oven to 325.
In a heavy sauce pan, melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring near constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, nesquik, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
In a large bowl at medium speed, beat eggs and sugar until light and creamy colored. Reduce speed to low and add cooled chocolate mixture, flour mixture, and vanilla extract. Beat until JUST blended. Increase speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes.
With wooden or silicon spoon, stir in nuts of choice and butterscotch chips.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Make about 13 minutes, or until tops are cracked and shiny. Let cool for 10 minutes on sheet, then transfer off.
HIGH ALTITUDE ADJUSTMENT- add 1 extra tbsp of flour
